Our beloved equestrian sport was affected by the cancellation of the really big events. However, I also saw it as a positive opportunity: My team and I were able to devote ourselves even more intensively to training horses and riders. When the first sporting lockdown finally started again, we were ready and all our horses shone with good results.<\/p>\n<p>The sporting highlights for me were the good results in both international tournaments in Budapest in the 160 cm tests, 2nd place in the national series in the overall ranking of the Bayern Championship and the successful participation in the German championships at the end of the season. This year I was particularly pleased with the sporting development of my two daughters. That makes you particularly proud as a father, trainer and horse owner.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m looking forward to the moment when, hopefully, normal life will be back for all of us in 2021. We&#8217;ll ride into the arena at a big tournament and finally hear and feel the applause from the audience again. My sporting goal for 2021 is to get even better and to keep improving in the world rankings.
