Hengststation Bachl

The family business Bachl - More than a stallion station

Welcome to the Bachl Stallion Station! We have just concluded an eventful season, filled with both sporting achievements and breeding highlights. As the breeding year draws to a close, we are already looking ahead with great energy toward innovative paths for the future.

A new partnership for your breeding success: Genetech Europe x Bachl Stallion Station

We are delighted to announce a very special new service: The Bachl Stallion Station is now an official partner of Genetech Europe in Southern Germany! For you as a breeder, this means that we are bringing state-of-the-art reproductive technologies directly to our facility. We will kick things off with our first joint OPU-ICSI day on November 26, 2026, at our premises in Postmünster! The Genetech team will be on-site that day to manage the procedures. Take advantage of this opportunity to further develop your breeding program. You may inquire about booking a slot by contacting us directly.

A highlight this year is clearly our new addition MILLION EYES – RESERVE WINNER of the 2026 DSP licensing. With his outstanding performances, his fantastic ability, and his overview, he was the clear winner for many – including us. We are delighted that he enriches our stallion collection at the highest level and is available to breeders in fresh semen.

A milestone for our station:
CHAPPELOUP was awarded the title DSP MASTER STALLION in 2025. This means that we now have three master stallions at our station – a strong sign of consistent quality and successful breeding work.

The Bachl Weekend 2026 has now demonstrated for the third time how important it is to us to offer our breeders a platform for their young horses. Interest was once again very high this year. The Free Jumping Cup and the Stallion Show were the highlights. Many visitors were present, and numerous others followed the event via ClipMyHorse. It was a weekend full of quality, emotion, and special moments. A heartfelt thank you to all participants, breeders, sponsors, and visitors – we are already looking forward to next year! You can find the video of the stallion show here:

Many of our stallions’ offspring have achieved great success. We are always delighted when you let us know about it. Whether at licensing, young horse tests, or at the highest level: the successes speak for themselves. There are also encouraging developments in sport: Emma (18) received the Golden Riding Badge at the FEI World Cup in Leipzig in January 2025, mastered her first 1.55 m course fantastically and without faults, and came 4th with the team at the European Championships. Carla (16) won her first 1.40 m competition, setting another milestone. Both are continuing their successful course in show jumping and are now also riding offspring of our stallions – a special sign of confidence in our own breeding program.

With the completion of our new, modern mare and breeding stable, we continue to invest consistently in optimal conditions for mares, foals, and rearing.

We look forward to a successful 2026 season – together with you.
