Outstanding champion stallion of the DSP licensing 2025
“He was the most complete show jumping stallion at this licensing over three days,” said Andy Witzemann, Show Jumping Sports Commissioner, explaining the licensing commission’s decision. “He has all the qualities you need for jumping and three very good basic gaits. The great characteristics associated with every generation of his pedigree are reflected in him.” What a statement for this still very young stallion.
CHAPLIN, the sire, was one of the most successful show jumpers worldwide during his career. He jumped to numerous victories and placings up to 1.65 m under Martin Fuchs (SUI), including a World Cup Final victory and three 5* GP victories in the Global Champions Tour. Chaplin particularly excelled in terms of mentality, rideability, and fighting spirit on the course.
UNITED TOUCH S, the dam’s sire, has an exceptional pedigree himself and won the World Cup under Richard Vogel (GER) in Spruce Meadows, Geneva, Stuttgart, Wellington, and other major show jumping competitions and Grand Prix events. A stallion with incredible potential. COMME IL FAUT, ridden by Marcus Ehning, was the winner of numerous 5* Grand Prix events in Madrid, Vienna, and Brussels, a great show jumper, and one of the most successful horses of his sporting era. His granddam, ACOBATA, produced the important stallions Cornado I and II. CHAPLIN’S TOUCH B has genes that make history and comes from one of the most successful dam lines in the world Holstein line 4507.
He more than demonstrated his character and willingness to perform at his licensing. He is a young stallion of the most modern type and passed his aptitude test with flying colors in 2025.
