DIAMANT DE SEMILLY X FIT FOR FUN – A pedigree that is unique worldwide!
Dark For Fun B – a striking top stallion at the 2025 DSP licensing, who knew how to please. Well-built, with good basic gaits, correct conformation, and lightness, he presented himself well throughout the licensing days. A stallion endowed with seemingly endless ability and caution.
DARK FOR FUN B’s dam FIT FOR FUN, with her rider Luciana Diniz, was the epitome of our sport for many years: rideable, willing to perform, talented, careful, fast, and with a unique character. She embodied everything we all want so much for our sport. And she proved this at all the most important Grand Prix events in the world up to 1.70 meters, from Aachen to the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, where she placed 9th. She is still in the top ten of the world’s most successful mares in terms of winnings!
The sire, Diamant de Semilly, has topped the rankings of the world’s best breeding stallions in show jumping for years and was himself World Champion in Jerez de la Frontera/ESP. He is the sire of countless top horses and licensed stallions. But the dam’s sire, For Pleasure, was also one of the world’s best horses of his time under Marcus Ehning and a great progenitor. He has sired 128 licensed stallions and numerous offspring with 1.60 m successes. What genetics!
At the licensing, DARK FOR FUN B demonstrated the willingness to perform, the ability, the caution, the character, and the correctness in the foundation of a great sire. He passed his aptitude test in 2025 with top marks. He received top marks of up to 9.0 for rideability, jumping ability, and willingness to perform. You can find his detailed pedigree HERE.
