Early Star was undoubtedly one of the top jumpers at the 2024 Westphalian licensing, which he left as a significant premium stallion. He had the best type scores with a distinctly masculine appearance, elastic basic gaits, and jumping ability of the very finest in terms of power, technique, and bascule. He impressed at every appearance with his clever nature and enthusiasm for jumping, which stems from his high-class pedigree.
His sire, Ermitage Kalone, is currently one of the best show jumpers in the world. He is an exceptional athlete and crowd pleaser. He delivers consistent top rounds in the world’s most difficult show jumping competitions, was Belgian Champion in 2023 and 2024, and qualified for the final at the Olympic Games in Paris with a clear round under his rider Gilles Thomas.
The dam’s sire Quick Star is a legend. He won several major international Grand Prix with Meredith Michaels-Beerbaum and stands for jumping heredity and attitude at the highest international level. He produced top horses and top sires such as Big Star, Stella, Chopin van het Moleneid, as well as numerous 1.60 m successful horses. The granddam N-Cassina is a full sister to the well-known sires Cassini I and II and a half-sister to Clarimo. With the world-class sires Capitol I and Caletto II, who have had a decisive influence on Holstein breeding for generations, the descending line leaves nothing to be desired. The Holstein line 3389 is one of the most successful dam lines worldwide and boasts a large number of successful horses at 1.40-1.60m.
Early Star B impresses with his fantastic willingness to perform the tasks set for him, top technique, and ability. His character, good basic gaits, and correct conformation make him a top young stallion. In 2025, he completed his performance test as the winner. He received top marks of up to 9.4 for rideability, jumping ability, and willingness to perform. This resulted in an overall score of 8.83 and victory! First start – first win.
