MILLION EYES
Reserve champion and winner of hearts at the 2026 DSP licensing
“This stallion has the ultimate ability, the ultimate quality, and the very finest jumping skills,” were the comments of the licensing commission and co-host Harm Sievers. We were particularly captivated by his extraordinary interior with great inner calm, confidence, and a pronounced joy of jumping. His even gait, consistent canter, and powerful, always controlled take-off also give him a remarkable naturalness at the jump – a quality that is rarely found. His sire Million Dollar remains unforgettable under Sophie Hinners in the top international class. Million Dollar offspring are characterized by jumping intelligence, good riding qualities, and ability – even his oldest offspring are already successfully competing in international classes up to 1.50m.
On his dam’s side, Million Eyes is based on Caretino, one of the most important Holstein sires of recent decades. Caretino himself produced over 60 licensed stallions in Germany and many horses that were successful at the highest level. The entire dam line via Aretina II comes from the Holstein line 318d2, a highly successful performance line that also produced numerous other internationally successful horses up to 1.60m. Million Eyes is recommended for breeders who are looking for careful, willing show jumpers with sound genetics and lasting prospects at a high level. His conformation and temperament, coupled with the genetic background of Million Dollar and Caretino, provide a strong foundation for breeding performance-oriented show jumpers.
