A particularly striking and handsome athlete and sire. Adzaro de L’Abbaye B himself was the winning stallion at the French licensing in St. Lo, champion of the four-year-olds in Normandy, and a finalist in Fontainebleau. He qualified for the French Championships in Fontainebleau with 13 wins. Initially very successful internationally in young horse tours with Tobias Bachl, he was a guarantee for top placings up to 1.50 m with his rider Marjolaine Marraud des Grottes /FRA.
His oldest offspring are now successful in international youngster tours, show jumping competitions, junior championships, and their first international competitions up to 1.45 m. A particularly notable offspring is the winner of the Austrian National Championships, Adzomet KES, who is now successful in international youngster tours.
His sire Quaprice Bois Margot (by Quidam de Revel-Lord-Liguster-Farnese-Cottage Son xx, Holst. Line 504) was French Champion at six and seven years of age and later thrilled audiences at the Global Tour in Arezzo, La Baule, and Lors, among other places, before passing away prematurely. His dam’s sire Diamant de Semilly, himself a member of the French team that won the World Team Championship in Jerez in 2002 and was runner-up in the European Championships in 2003 under Eric Levallois, is consistently ranked among the top three international sires in the WBFSH world rankings of the best show jumping sires worldwide. He has a dam line that has produced numerous successful horses at 1.45m-1.60m.
