Vingino is DSP Masters stallion 2021!
A special honor for a special horse: The gray stallion by Voltaire-Cassini I-Quidam de Revel was awarded the coveted title at the DSP Stallion Days.
As the saying goes: Special times require special measures… And so a title was awarded in Bavaria’s state capital that is actually associated with that of Baden-Württemberg. Since 2009, a stallion has been honored as part of the “Stuttgart German Masters” that can demonstrate success on international sports circuits and is at home at a station of the DSP associations. But the renowned World Cup tournament planned for November 2021 had to be canceled again, but those responsible did not want to cancel the honoring of the stallion without replacement. And so yesterday there was a slightly smaller stage for the chosen one, the KWPN stallion Vingino, born in 2002, who lives at the Bachl station in Postmünster in Lower Bavaria.
In his saddle sat the daughter of the house, the reigning German champion of the Children Emma Bachl, and she was accompanied by her justifiably proud parents Elke and Tobias Bachl. And then it became the “big train station”. The President of the Association of Stallion Owners of the German Sport Horse Dr. Astrid von Velsen-Zerweck, head stable master of the Baden-Württemberg main and state stud in Marbach, put the parade blanket on the gray horse, Carsten Grill, chairman of the South German horse breeding associations, and Torsten Große-Freese, breeding director of Bavaria, presented flowers and the breeders present celebrated the well-deserved champion frenetic. He obviously enjoyed it – after all, he is used to arenas and applause. Because the imposing gray was at home on the big show grounds, collected ribbons under the Dutch Nathalie van der Mai, the Belgian Annelies Vorsselmans, the Egyptian Abdel Said and stallion owner Tobi Bachl, for example in the Grand Prix at the CSIO5* Mannheim as well as at the CHIO in Rotterdam in the Netherlands , at the CSI in Lanaken, Belgium and at various stations of the Riders Tour.
The ability is practically in his cradle, heroes of show jumping horse breeding can be found in a direct line in his pedigree, his mother was also successful up to Grand Prix level. And his offspring have long enriched international sport around the world. The best-known Vingino sons and daughters include Cavallia/Laura Kraut (USA), Davino/Ben Schröder (NED), HH Gigis Girl/McLain Ward (USA) and D’Arnita/Molly Ashe (USA). For 2018 and 2019, the Horse Telex breeding platform put him in first place among the most promising sires worldwide with offspring up to the age of twelve. He also produced numerous highly decorated youngsters and coveted foals at DSP auctions. Now Vingino is in line with Masters stallions like Dobels Cento, Magnus Romeo, Colorit, Embassy II, Con Spirit, Don Diamond, Unee BB, Imperio, Fahrenheit GT and DSP Belantis.
